2004 / OUR BEGINNING
Established in 2004 by Diane and Steve Colletti, Its about Thyme Farm is a testament to our enduring passion for agriculture and creativity. What began as a modest venture with a single greenhouse blossomed into a thriving family-run enterprise rooted in the heart of community and innovation.
2005 / GROWING AGAIN
In our early days, we embarked on the journey with a greenhouse dedicated to annuals and a delightful pick-your-own herb section. However, adversity struck in 2005 when our greenhouse succumbed to the weight of snow. Undeterred, we rose from the challenge, rebuilding stronger than before. It was during this time that we introduced our beloved pick-your-own pumpkin patch, a tradition that flourishes to this day.
2009 / THE SHOP & STUDIO
Fuelled by our commitment to growth and diversification, we expanded our operations, adding more greenhouses and, in 2009, unveiling a charming gift shop featuring a unique glass blowing studio. Inspired by Diane's training at the prestigious Corning Glass Museum, our glass artistry quickly became a hallmark of our farm experience.
2012 / AN ORCHARD TAKES ROOT
The orchard joined our landscape in 2012, boasting 500 trees that have thrived and multiplied with each passing year. Family values and dedication have always been at the core of our ethos, evident in every apple harvested from our orchard.
2019 / A PLACE TO CELEBRATE
A pivotal moment arrived in 2019 with the culmination of five years of unwavering determination: the grand opening of the Once Upon a Time Wedding Barn. This monumental addition, accompanied by the expansion of our glass shop into Thyme Glass Arts, marked a new chapter in our legacy.
2022 & BEYOND / DIANE’S LEGACY
Tragically, Diane's passing in 2022 left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. Yet, her spirit lives on in every corner of our farm, inspiring us to forge ahead with resilience and passion. Wynette, an integral part of our family for 17 years, embarked on a journey to Corning to hone her skills in glassworking, ensuring that Diane's artistic legacy endures through her breathtaking creations, continuing her artistic tradition.
